The young Scottish soprano Alison McNeill graduated with Honours from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 2008 where she was awarded, amongst others, the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music scholarship.
In a glittering student career she has taken part in many prestigious events including singing at the Edinburgh International Festival, The Last Night of the Proms, the Opening of the Scottish Parliament and singing the National Anthem in the Scotland International Rugby Games.
She has made many concert appearances throughout the UK, Holland, Spain, America and Mexico and has sung with many prestigious orchestras including the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the Cantelina Chamber Ensemble and Mexican Renaissance Group Ditirambo.
Alison and harpist Eleanor Holley recently recorded and released their first CD “Celtic Magic”, a collection of songs and music from around Celtic Britain.
